I first heard of the CanFarm map in early 2018. Now, 18 months later, version 2 of the highly anticipated map is available for download. The first version entered the Farming Simulator 19 mod contest but had to be removed due to one (!) uncredited map object (a scale...)

Huge Fields

CanFarm has"only" 19 fields. But don't be fooled into thinking it's a small map.Most of those 19 fields are almost insanely huge, just like the realthing.

Sure, you can work them by yourself. But the map is better suited for Multiplayer. Or Courseplay. Doing all the work alone will take its toll...

Custom Textures

The mapuses custom textures for many of the crops. They all look great.And they are correctly optimized, working well on most gaming rigs withoutcausing massive lag spikes.

CanFarm'strain is working in the updated version of the map. And it's massive. Is it thelongest one in the history of FS19?

Seasons 19 Ready

You get some equipment when you start the game, but no buildings, not even on the "New Farmer" career mode, except for some silos. But no worries, you have plenty of space to build your own farm. BernieSCS’ US farm buildings pack should do the trick…

The CanFarm map is prepared for Seasons 19. And the Seasons mod really suits the map. It's a great looking combo.

Canadian Prairie Farming

There areseveral areas for placeable objects. And the map itself is pretty flat, makingit easy to play around with the landscaping tool. (The map is inspired bythe prairie areas of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada.)

Andlogging? There's a forest north on the map where forestry fans can use winterdowntime doing something useful. The selling point for logs is located to theeast of the forest.

Map by Seriousmods

The CanFarmmap is made by Seriousmods, one of the most outspoken (sometimes oneof the most controversial) Farm Sim modders. The map is his goodbyeto FS modding. I think that's really sad. Although I haven't always agreed withhim, I have the utmost respect for him and his work, especially his efforts tobring the North American modding community closer together.

Anyway,the CanFarm map is a worthy farewell. It's a great legacy.
